PH pioneered in this domain, offering end-to-end services, from treating a plaintiff to claims settlement. It serves as a one-stop solution for attorneys, attending to all legal, document, and medical requirements that must be presented in court.

Attorneys managing personal injury cases face challenges with disorganized medical records, inefficient documentation, and complex financial tracking. PH wanted to streamline this process with a comprehensive case management solution.
Pristine Healthcare wanted to provide a single-entity bill that could be presented in courts for injured victims willing to pursue a legal discourse against their opposition.
To bring their vision to life, they initially hired another agency. However, they failed to execute PH’s expectations and faced several challenges.
Here are the most prominent challenges they faced when developing this solution.
1. Learning the Intricacies of the Process:
As PH was the first to design such a solution, they had no reference points. They had to spend a lot of time understanding the numerous verticals that come into play when developing an all-in-one service platform for attorneys, plaintiffs, and medical organizations.
2. Organizing a Phase-Wise Development Roadmap:
As learned above, devising a roadmap that would foster the simultaneous development of the attorney, plaintiff, and admin portal was difficult due to multiple tangents.
3. Understanding and Coding Case-Specific Requirements:
The solution required an admin, plaintiff, and attorney portal. A significant challenge with them was creating provisions to track all ongoing operations and feed niche medical and legal information. PH aimed to offer complete visibility to admin, attorneys, and plaintiffs.
4. Coding Niche Features of the Admin and Attorney Portal:
A critical challenge was grasping and implementing the internal processes of the admin and attorney portals. The admin app required features like updating and tracking operations performed by all the attorneys using the portal. The attorney app needed features related to document processing, OCR, appointment scheduling, and more.
5. Documenting the Finances for Plaintiffs:
With personal injury cases, lawyers must track the back-and-forth during a victim’s medical consultations. This process can be costly, and the plaintiff may need financial assistance. The platform incurs the entire expense and must be documented per the court’s requirements.
6. In-App Communication:
PH also wanted to facilitate in-app communication, where attorneys can receive and send emails or chat with a medical professional or admin as and when they need assistance.
PH envisioned an online system and hired an agency to bring its vision to life. After considerable time, the agency failed to meet PH’s expectations. Pristine Healthcare’s CEO was referred to Maruti Techlabs by a former client who commended our expertise in managing complex projects.

Considering the complexity of the application Pristine Healthcare envisioned, here’s how our experts addressed the numerous challenges we faced.
1. Finalizing the Project’s Scope:
We began by dispatching our Technical Project Manager to our client location in the US. Our TPM collaborated directly with PH’s technical leadership and gathered all necessary project requirements.
2. Devising the Complete Roadmap:
After gathering comprehensive details with virtual assistance from our team in India, we transitioned to the planning phase. Here, we developed a complete roadmap outlining the steps to achieve the desired outcome. It also included detailed effort estimates and a breakdown of the required investment.
We commenced the project by sifting, sorting, and organizing the previous work (done by the hired agency). For this, we leveraged Jira and the Sprint model.
3. Programming the Core Features:
These essential features were developed to enhance visibility and facilitate administrative, attorney, and plaintiff operations.

As the project had a complex workflow, we started with a four-week discovery workshop with PH’s technical head. Here, we developed a roadmap for developing the solution.
We deployed a team of 13 individuals to work on the attorney and admin portal’s frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps. The team also consisted of 1 technical project manager and two technical leads.
We used Slack for daily communication and provided project updates via Zoom, aligning it with our two-week sprint cycles.
